About the role:

Were looking for a Senior Product Designer to support the Core and Business Insights teams. Youll work at the intersection of complex data-rich experiences, AI-assisted workflows, and the nuanced needs of fitness studio operators.

This is a role for a designer who leads with a point of view. Youll bring senior craft and clear thinking to ambiguous problems, working closely with engineers, PMs, and cross-functional stakeholders to ship product thats both useful and beautifully executed. Youll sit within a UX team that includes Product Design, Content Design, UI Design, and UX Research — and youll report directly to the Chief Design Officer.

What will be your impact:

  • Deliver design for Core and Business Insights features — from early problem framing and research through to detailed UI, prototyping, and production handoff
  • Lead with an opinion on product direction, challenging assumptions with evidence and advocating confidently for user-centred solutions in cross-functional discussions
  • Influence without authority across PM, Engineering, Design, and executive stakeholders — aligning diverse perspectives around a clear and coherent design direction
  • Design for complex data-rich experiences — crafting dashboards, reporting views, and insight surfaces that transform dense information into clear, actionable interfaces
  • Champion AI-powered design workflows, leveraging tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other emerging AI tooling to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and handoff quality
  • Shape and contribute to our design system, ensuring components and patterns scale gracefully across the product while reflecting a high bar for craft
  • Collaborate deeply with engineers, working in agile pod teams with a shared commitment to quality — comfortable reviewing implementation and bridging the gap between design intent and technical reality
  • Connect design decisions to outcomes, framing work in terms of user value, business impact, and measurable product goals
  • Stay at the frontier of AI and design, actively tracking how the intersection of intelligence, interaction, and interface is evolving — and bringing that perspective back to the team
  • Contribute to team practices — design critiques, rituals, ways of working — helping raise the collective bar and fostering a culture of creative rigour

You would be great fit if you have:

Must-haves

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating senior-level product design craft — clear thinking, refined UI, and well-articulated design decisions connected to user and business outcomes
  • An AI-powered design workflow thats part of your daily practice — ideally including experience prompting tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate prototyping, spec generation, or design-to-code workflows (no coding required — the ability to direct these tools with precision is what matters)
  • Proven ability to influence PM, Engineering, Design, and executive stakeholders — you know how to build alignment, navigate ambiguity, and advocate for quality without needing formal authority
  • The habit of leading with a perspective — you dont wait to be told what the right answer is; you form a view, pressure-test it, and bring it confidently into the room
  • A genuine curiosity about emerging trends at the intersection of AI and design — and the ability to translate that curiosity into practice, not just conversation
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, agile pod teams with engineers and PMs — you can move quickly, iterate in the open, and maintain quality under pressure
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate, defend, and evolve design decisions across diverse audiences

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing data-rich UIs and data visualisation — dashboards, reporting surfaces, or analytics tools where information hierarchy and legibility are core design challenges
  • Background working on SaaS products, ideally within a startup or scale-up environment where speed, iteration, and business impact are constant considerations
