We are seeking a Principal Experience Designer, Agents and Workflows to join the Applied Intelligence design team in the Experience Foundations organization of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) Division. This is strategic design role focused on defining the core interaction model for Autodesks future agentic product experiences, with particular emphasis on notebook-style and workflow-oriented surfaces. You will be accountable for designing how users initiate, iterate, and operationalize work with AI, shaping human–AI collaboration patterns that feel intuitive, contextual, and outcome-driven rather than task-driven.
This role requires deep interaction design craft across emerging paradigms such as search, data-informed personalization, and context-aware experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Personalization, Content Design, including designers working in adjacent AI-focused spaces, while leveraging existing user research and experience architecture to turn complex system capabilities into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences while modeling strong cross-functional ways of working.

Salary is one part of Autodesks competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,000 and $232,320. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
