We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (Design Technologist) to help reimagine what the future of work looks like for Confluence customers collaborating on the go. In this role, you’ll report to the Product Design Director, Mobile & AI, and join a global organization spanning North America and Australia. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll drive key design initiatives across both Confluence Mobile and Confluence AI teams, working at the intersection of mobile, web and AI to create seamless, intelligent experiences that empower teams to collaborate anywhere, anytime.
You will focus on defining and achieving objectives for your teams or projects. You independently deliver high-quality prototypes, support technical handoff, and help build confidence in design technology across the team. You’ll partner closely with our mobile, web and AI teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible—leveraging the latest in generative AI, search, and intelligent agents to deliver breakthrough mobile-first workflows. Your work will help shape how millions of users experience Confluence on their devices, making collaboration smarter, faster, and more delightful.

Bridge the gap between current and future engineering practices: Our engineering teams are evolving their technology stack and ways of working. We’re seeking a Design Technologist who can help seed and accelerate this transition—partnering with engineers to push the boundaries of what’s possible, while also providing practical guidance and support. You’ll play a key role in inspiring, enabling, and guiding the team as we reimagine how we build and deliver innovative, AI-powered experiences.
