At Apple great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences. We believe design matters and we are passionate about providing high quality services to our customers around the world. Design has always been at the heart of Apple, the work that we do, and is the creative core of the Product & Design team. The Product and Design Team is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design Producer to lead, manage, and deliver service design initiatives. The Design Producer will play a big part in upholding these values and driving innovation and creativity through our design work and is an advocate for the user experience.
Often supporting multiple concurrent projects, the Design Producer, in collaboration with their partners, will work to clarify project requirements, define design strategy and goals, lead and facilitate design reviews with an eye towards quality, and represent design in cross-functional forums to ensure high quality launch of the final feature. This is a fast-paced team focused on complex design challenges and works closely with many other cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Business, Senior Management and other stakeholder teams.
Partnering closely with Design, Product Management, Engineering, and business leaders, we drive priorities through seamless day-to-day operations and strong stakeholder alignment, with an eye towards scale, efficiency, and quality. With a strong appreciation for the practice and process of design, you understand the multiple disciplines that go into a successful product.
You’re a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently, performing multiple tasks under minimal supervision. You’re a strong systems and strategic thinker, and bring creativity to the operational aspects of a design team and deal with solving the “how” freeing up your team to focus on crafting the “what.” You’re a natural collaborator, strong communicator, and able to help develop and present design ideas in a large team environment. You connect dots across work streams, anticipate how decisions are made, and work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders. You have demonstrated strong performance in your prior roles, thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous and deadline driven environment, and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities with limited oversight.
