What Youll Do

  • Actively partner with product, content, user research, engineering, and marketing to deliver thoughtful, high-impact design solutions.
  • Translate insights from qualitative research and quantitative data into actionable design iterations, striking a balance between creativity and clarity.
  • Deliver key design artifacts, including user flows, prototypes, wireframes, and visual systems.
  • Contribute to a team culture of curiosity, inclusion, and craft.
  • Design simple, intuitive mobile experiences that support and extend Ancestrys core product journeys.

Who You Are

  • Experience in UX or product design, including a track record of delivering thoughtful and well-crafted design solutions in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
  • A strong foundation in human-centered design, with the ability to bring clarity to complex or unfamiliar spaces.
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.2 and a commitment to designing accessible, inclusive user interfaces—supporting screen readers, keyboard navigation, appropriate color contrast, and other accessibility standards.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
  • You get things done — balancing quality, speed, and impact.
  • Bonus: Experience and/or passion in family history.
