  • Actively contribute to and maintain our organizational design system by creating, documenting, and testing reusable UI components in Figma.
  • Ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products through diligent use of the design system.
  • Collaborate with Product Management roles and researchers to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Translate insights from user research, data analysis, and A/B testing into actionable design improvements.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with other designers to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience across the product ecosystem.
  • Creation of engaging and informative presentations intended for executive audiences.
  • Apply knowledge of the insurance industry (e.g., policy lifecycle, claims process, regulatory requirements) to design solutions that simplify complex insurance concepts for users.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a dedicated UX/UI design, product design, or similar role.
  • Majority of experience in corporate or agency roles.
  • At least 1 year of direct experience designing digital products within the insurance industry (e.g., P&C, Life, Health; Personal Lines OK, Commercial Lines a plus).
  • Expert proficiency in Figma for design, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating, contributing to, and maintaining design system components within Figma.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Proven ability to solve complex design problems and translate them into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
