Job Purpose

Honda is seeking a skilled UX Designer to develop and refine user-centered experiences across digital touchpoints, including in-vehicle systems, mobile apps, and web.

The UX Designer will work independently on design initiatives, leveraging research insights and industry best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly designs. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and user needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support UX design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring consistency and usability across platforms
  • Design and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows to communicate design intent
  • Partner with UX researchers to analyze user data and translate findings into actionable design improvements
  • Conduct experience audits, competitive/comparative analysis, and confirm that design proposals are meeting market expectations
  • Develop and refine information architecture and user flows
  • Participate in and occasionally lead design critiques and stakeholder reviews
  • Advocate for best practices in usability, accessibility, and interaction design
  • Work closely with product teams and developers to understand product goals, requirements, constraints, and ensure design implementation fidelity
  • Support UX strategy development and contribute to design system evolution

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field OR equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX design
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Experience working within an Agile development process
  • Strong ability to balance user needs with business objectives
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Knowledge of accessibility and usability principles
