Team Overview
The team consists of UX Designers, Visual Designers, Design Technologists, and Program Managers, collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative seller-facing experiences across stores worldwide.
As a Senior UX Design Manager, you will lead a team of individual contributors across disciplines to support a suite of products used by Selling Partners (SPs) daily. You will be responsible for:
- Defining the end-to-end seller experience vision.
- Ensuring delivery across your team.
- Driving clarity in complexity, reducing bureaucracy, and removing blockers.
- Setting the CX bar for the organization.
- Championing continuous innovation and improving seller experiences.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and motivator.

- Utilize deep expertise in various facets of UX design (interaction models, prototyping, visual and motion design, IA, and design systems).
- Drive consensus on design decisions through usability heuristics and data.

- Collaborate with product and business partners to develop a shared vision and design experiences that meet those objectives.
- Navigate from ambiguity to clarity, proactively planning and looking ahead.

A Day in the Life
Amazon's Selling Partner Business includes various teams that support selling partners who supply products and services on Amazon's stores. “Selling partner” encompasses all non-Amazon entities that sell or supply on Amazon's platforms, including both retail vendors and sellers.

Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of design experience.
- 7+ years leading multi-discipline Design teams (visual design, interaction design, user research, etc.).
- Experience leading design teams of 5 to 10 or more direct reports.
- Experience delivering experiences from end to end (user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting to and advising senior leaders outside of design.
- Experience managing teams and collaborating with partners across multiple time zones.

Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $162,300/year in the lowest geographic market to $268,400/year in the highest. Pay is based on several factors, including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers total compensation, including equity, sign-on payments, medical, financial, and other benefits.
