We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking UX Designer to become a key member of our Search and Conversational Shopping Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the innovation team behind Amazon's generative AI-powered shopping assistant, Rufus. Rufus makes it easy for customers to find and discover products by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more. As a UX Designer on this innovative project, you will help shape the future of this high-impact product, which benefits from extensive customer research and behavioral data, and a rapid launch cadence. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional group of designers, researchers, writers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience. This role requires both big-picture vision and meticulous attention to detail as you bring our bold product roadmap to life for hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
