We are looking for an experienced designer to employ equal parts creativity and ingenuity to help shoppers discover new products and help small sellers reach customers (often for the first time). Design proposals must go beyond balancing the needs of both groups to exciting them both with net-new benefits.
This designer receives a request to help address a gap in the Amazon experience and sets up a sync with stakeholders to learn more. They identify the key issue and use Dive Deep to identify causes, impacts, and solutions. Throughout their ideation and proposal they proactively communicate with key stakeholders (like product, engineering, and/or partner design teams) to identify problems, opportunities, and net-new ideas whether in response to a request or independently. They bring ideas to their team for input and share their learnings with their team members.
The Sponsored Products and Brands UX and product teams leverage research and direct anecdotes from customers to identify shopper needs that aren't being met. We work collaboratively across multiple teams (retail, personalization, brand, and 3P teams) to build experiences that make Amazon a wonderful place to explore, discover, shop, and play.
