Position Responsibilities:
Design and develop responsive, accessible email templates optimized for global audiences, ensuring usability and performance across devices. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable marketing campaigns using HTML, CSS, Handlebars, and Media Queries, meeting industry standards and company requirements. Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines (WCAG), implementing best practices to optimize for screen readers and assistive technologies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, Product, and technical stakeholders, to deliver global email solutions that meet diverse business needs. Troubleshoot platform-specific issues and ensure consistent performance across email clients using tools like Litmus and Email on Acid. Streamline workflows, leveraging tools like WorkFront, to improve team efficiency and drive the success of global email campaigns. Demonstrate expert-level design and development skills, ensuring timely delivery of professional, high-impact email campaigns. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and help refine internal email development guidelines.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $133,598/year to $178,300/year. Amazon is a total compensation company. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience with all of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Handlebars, jQuery, Figma, and Photoshop; (2) experience developing automated and personalized marketing emails; (3) strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and experience ensuring email accessibility; (4) managing marketing automation across multiple Email Service Providers (ESPs) and Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs); and (5) utilizing A/B testing, audience segmentation, and targeting. Up to 25% domestic and/or international travel may be required.
