This is a fixed 12-month contract with the possibility to extend based on mutual fit, overall performance, and budgeted headcount.

Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer to join our growing Heartbeat App team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and visually appealing user interfaces that align with our business objectives and elevate user satisfaction. This team focuses on developing and enhancing how we visualize energy consumption and production data, providing clarity on Heartbeat AI decisions, simplifying price curves, and visualizing live system statuses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and developers to define problems, lead discoveries & rapidly create high fidelity designs for new or existing features
  • Autonomously creating high-fidelity interactive designs that elevate the overall user experience, and then iteratively improving your solutions based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and data insights
  • Quickly understanding complex models & problems, and designing them into intuitive, simple, user-centric solutions
  • Collaborating with 1K5º designers to improve our design language, UX patterns, whilst advocating for user focused design, and contributing to a top-notch community of mission focused designers

Your profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of mobile app product design experience building excellent user-centric digital products, ideally in a fast-paced scale-up environment
  • A strong grasp of visual design, data visualisation, and accessibility
  • A finger on the pulse of design trends and industry best practices
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Very strong written and spoken English skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience or knowledge of the climate tech industry
  • German fluency is a big bonus
