Are you a skilled product designer interested in applying your expertise to the future of AI products? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current projects or consulting work?
10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals, partners with leading AI labs to improve advanced AI systems. We are seeking freelance product designers based in the EU or UK who want to shape the standards of AI-driven product experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Review and refine AI-generated design outputs covering user flows, interface components, interaction patterns, and visual layouts
- Evaluate outputs for usability, accessibility, and alignment with product design best practices
- Draft realistic design scenarios and product briefs reflecting real-world design problems and workflows
- Assess AI reasoning in topics such as user research, prototyping, design systems, and responsive design
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or unrealistic assumptions in design solutions or reasoning
- Create scenario variations from different stakeholder perspectives, such as designer, product manager, user, or engineer
In simple terms: You will assess and enhance AI-generated design content, ensuring it reflects the standards and practical realities of product design. Your work will help scale high-quality design perspectives within advanced AI systems.
Who this is for
You are:
- A product designer, UX/UI designer, or interaction designer
- Based in the EU or UK
- With several years of experience in product, UX, or interface design
- Experienced with modern design tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Comfortable identifying usability issues, accessibility challenges, and design inconsistencies
- Available 8 to 20 hours per week
- Able to start in the coming weeks
